Fragrance Mists vs Reed Diffusers

As the season shifts into summer and the temperatures rise, candles may be the last thing you want to use. That’s where our Fragrance Mists and Reed Diffusers really come in handy.

I often get asked which is better, or which lasts longer. But honestly, they're really just two different types of products and it will vary on how you use them.

Which is better, mists or diffusers?

I often get asked which is better, or which lasts longer. But honestly, they're really just two different types of products and it will vary on how you use them.

Reed Diffusers

Reed diffusers are great for subtle fragrance all the time. Flip the reeds when you want a burst of fragrance. Diffusers can last anywhere from 3 months +, it just depends on how often you flip your reeds and how dry your space is. I feel that diffusers are great in any space - bathroom, office, bedroom and kitchen.

Our diffusers come in recyclable glass bottles made in the U.S., sustainably sourced wood fiber packaging, and responsibly harvested rattan reeds.

Fragrance Mists

Fragrance Mists are great for a strong burst of fragrance. I notice the fragrance lingers longer when misted on fabrics like curtains or couch (always test first!). Misted fragrance generally lasts a few hours to a day and a bottle will last depending on how often you mist it.

The bottle is great for taking on-the-go too. I like to have one in my car for a quick freshener.

Our minimal formula is made up of just three ingredients: fragrance and essential oil blends, perfumers alcohol, and distilled water and comes in a recyclable glass bottle Unlike some popular sprays, ours don't contain unnecessary chemical irritants like emulsifiers or preservatives, however that does mean you need to shake your bottle well before misting!

Refresh your living room with fragrance mist.

Bottle Recycle

Did you know that we have a bottle recycle program (and refills for candles too!)? Return your bottles back to us for $2 off your order!
If you live in the San Diego area you can return them to our partner store Botanica Home and Garden or our HQ. If you’re out of town, you can ship them back to us, though, I’d wait till you have a few to make it worth it carbon footprint wise and financially.

Which is better?

So, which is better? That’s really up to you! If you’re not sure which to purchase please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at hello@1502CandleCo.com - we’re happy to help!

With gratitude,
